Other Recent Events

In 2017, our German Branch hosted an excellent Gathering. In 2018 we held our most recent Triennial Gathering in London, England. In 2022, The Southern Cross Branch took the brave first step following the immense challenges presented by the pandemic, with their excellent Gathering event in Melbourne, Australia. In 2023, the USA & Canada came together with the first officially named Butler Society Gathering event in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada – and it was a great success!

And in August 2024, we resumed our traditional Triennial Gathering based at Kilkenny Castle. What a wonderful reunion this was of Butler families and their kith and kin from all around the world. More updates are coming soon.

Looking ahead, the next Triennial Gathering will be in Kilkenny in August, 2027. It’s time to start thinking about joining us then! More details will be shared closer to the event.
